For Spicy Rub
2 tbsp. of honey
1 tbsp. of fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp. of smoked paprika
1 tsp. of pepper
1 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of olive oil
Cooking Directions
Take a small sized bowl and add butter, bourbon, butter, parsley, chives, pepper and salt and stir the mixture well to create your butter bourbon mix
Once you are ready to cook, heat up your smoker by adding soaked mesquite wood blocks and let it pre-heat for about 4-5 minutes
Take another small bowl and add all the ingredients of the spice rub
Generously season your steak with the rub and place the seasons steaks directly onto the grill grate
Let it smoke for about 1 hour
Temporarily remove your steaks to a platter and set the temperature of your grill to 450 degree Fahrenheit
Add the smoked steak to your grill grate and grill them for about 6-8 minutes preside until the internal temperature gives a reading of 135 degree Fahrenheit (for medium rare)
Transfer the prepared steaks to your serving platter and top them up with a rub of your prepared bourbon flavored butter
Let them rest for about 3 minute and serve!
